Redbull Flugtag 2008 Stunt
We made this glider in my front yard out of a billboard skin, 100 mm stormwater fittings, an old pram and some wood. The whole thing packed flat and amazingly, it flew the third furthest distance out of 35 entries. The contraption and pilot flew in front of 55,000 people at Redbull’s world-famous Flugtag event … in to Sydney Harbour. Mervyn had to go to hospital for a fractured tailbone.
